Designing educational products is both challenging and exciting. We specialize in developing content, illustrating concepts, and designing a variety of learning materials from textbooks, workbooks, storybooks, games, activity materials and others.
The critical difference we bring to our work is in designing for emotional, social and ecological intelligences. We don't see education as an experiential product in the classroom but as the interactions of individuals with living creative minds, capable to transforming the world into a more positive and meaningful place. Education is holistic and is a thread that connects the mind, body, heart, intellect of the individual with community and environment. To us it is exciting to bring in this sensibility into our products.
Parents, teachers and children themselves inform our thinking, and their viewpoints, experiences and knowledge base helps us dig deeper into understanding their needs as well as the creative expertise they bring with them. We have realised that designing educational product is not about creating a body of work that helps in teaching or learning, but it is about challenging people to rethink how they look at their own world and those connected to them. It is about shifting viewpoints by offering thoughtful, intelligent spaces in which students and teachers alike can innovate, create on their own and build ideas and work that is relevant to their lives.
