“I didn’t think I could make a storybook. But now I know. I have to think hard, use all my brains and I can make a story” said five year old Neel when we asked him, what he had enjoyed most at the workshop. Each child came up with a unique story that was inspired by their own lives, things that mattered to them and their imagination. For Neel, a one handed, compassionate giant became the centre of his story, teaching us all the importance of empathy and the painful realities of discrimination based on difference.
